BIG BIG BIG IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT!!! The reason the sound wasn't playing was because the Neck1 and Neck bones were set to a low priority. Amazingly, the fucking NECK BONES dictate sound. Don't ask me how or why. If your sounds aren't playing for your animation, increase the priority of the neck bones. Or something.

If you're gonna do that bash approach, you could add support for b42 gun bashing's keybinds as well. I play on controller and have it set to R1, and it could be nice to not have to change keybinds since it's annoying on controller to change em

So is this released anywhere or is it just on a discord server? Was following this mod and joined the discord but it seems its still unreleased. From What I can tell there's a post on the discord about the CQC being broken and development halted. Does that mean the movement works fine its just cqc that's broken? I'm a little confused as the nature of what is released. Is there a nexus release coming soon? I don't care about the cqc not being in the mod but I am a huge fan of gun fu so was really stoked about the new dive rolling animations this mod was going to have

Can i suggest the dodges animations both to be tweak or redone... First for the "normal dodge", the animations need to be faster as right now it feels very floaty, that might be enough for the player to believe it, it is not very convincing visually speaking. Maybe trying to imitate Solid project (the best dodge mod for new vegas at the moment) animations or Star wars battlefield 2 (2018, this would be perfect) And for the "aiming dodge" if you make the character actually do a couple of steps in the direction it could work for the player as a "short distance dodge" just fine. On an ideal scenario there would be different animations for light and heavy armor, if you can animate it's pretty easy to create variations of one animation with a solid base, at least i do in blender. Other than that, the project looks great, high potential to become a mandatory mod for years to come, loving it so far!

HI, i want to make some animations, i managed to extract male and female models, but i cant figure out how to extract original FNV skeleton, how do you do that, or you just make armature from scratch and match the original bone names?

As someone who works at Fred Meyer I agree.

I LOVE the idea that no armor makes you take more ap, but i think you should set it to a static value as opposed to your previous equipped armor. players expect games to play consistently, to the point of analyzing and complaining about alterations to spray patterns. this is amazing tho, and will be a mainstay in my load order. Ive always thought that having fancy first person animations was a serious juxtaposition to that of the rather stiff and rigid NPC animations. very unimmersive to be the only human in the wasteland without back pain.

the flailing animations with the fire weapon any time mod is super cool. It would be neat to see what combat with this mod is like against high level characters (i.e lanius)
